Tim Hortons is a famous Canadian coffee shop that has expanded into the USA and around the world. I tried the french roast style today. It is their darkest roast coffee. I tasted real smokey and woody black. Drinking it in a double double the flavour changed to a smooth woody flavour that was really delicious.

This coffee isn't for everyone as the smokey burnt flavour is overpowering when it is drunk black. Adding the milk and sugar helped but it is a dark roast which requires an acquired taste.

I would recommend this coffee to anyone who likes dark roast or really smokey woody flavoured coffees. If this is not your style then I would pass on this coffee as it might not appease your palate.
