Homemade Korean Galbi Chicken 굽네 치킨 갈비천왕
Today we explore the world of galbi chicken (갈비 치킨). Usually galbi sauces are added to beef or pork but sometimes people make galbi chicken.
Hangook ajumma and I used chicken legs but all part of the chicken can be used to make galbi chicken.
The chicken should be chopped up into pieces if you are using a whole chicken. Once the chicken is separated into pieces it should be marinated with pepper, salt and some other spices.
The chicken should then be cooked in an oven or air fryer to minimize fat content in the cooked chicken.
Once the chicken is cooked it should be placed in a bowl and covered in galbi sauces. Galbi sauce can be homemade with soya sauce spices and some other ingredients . we however used a premade sauce that is easily found in supermarkets.
Once rhe chicken is covered in the sauce it can be enjoyed with rice,vegetables and your beverage of choice.
