Growing up there was a cereal that was majestic and loved by most if not all kids of the 90's. This cereal was Oreo O's. The cereal is based on the popular Oreo cookies which are a cult favourite as well as a mainstream heavy hitter. Oreo O's disappeared as fast as they came and left children looking for a cereal cookie fix.
The cereal was still produced in south korea and those with a heavy wallet and some time to spare could snag a box at a foreign market or online. The Koreans held the Oreo O's market for multiple years as they had the only rights to produce the cereal.
However, in a stroke of luck post north america got the rights back to Oreo O's and can now produce this sweet and delicious cereal for all canadians and americans to enjoy.
The cereal is chocolate cookie flavoured and covered in a sweet cream coating which adds a good sweet taste to milk if it is added. The cereal is crunchy and resembles a cheerios or a fruit loop with a white glaze over top. The cereal is best eaten after the milk penetrates the cereal as the milk gets the sweet taste as well as it becomes more chocolaty.
These little round bundles of deliciousness are definitely worth a try as they can again leave as fast as they came. So if you see a box pick them up and try them.
